SOCS CRUISE
Posted Mon, Oct 26th 2009, 21:12Welcome Everyone! This blog section is just for you. I will update with information and news as soon as I get it. This will be a good spot for everyone to visit and ask questions or concerns. This is your post so please use it.
I am happy to say that as of 10/26/2009 there are 5 confirmed cabins going.
Have you thought about maybe getting tee shirts made? Let me know and I will get the prices and set up an order.
Need a ride from the airport to the pier? Maybe we can get a shuttle service or book Carnival transfers.
Ask anything you want. I'll try and get you the answers. Get more folks involved and get them to book. The more cabins we get, the more ammo I have to ask Carnival for "freebies".
OK, well that's about all for now. Remember to stop in often. Make a post or just say hi. Send me an email at driftawaycruises@comcast.net so I can add you to my list.
Talk with you all soon.
Mike

This is Great!!! Thanks Mike
WOW! 5 cabins, ten people??? Terrific. I found a coupon for su pershuttle.com. A van for 10 one way for $100. I want to speak to a real person first. Also tomorrow I will call Carnival to confirm that Hobby is the airport to go to. And: What time should we be at the dock? And: How long does it take to get from the airport to the port? More stuff: Girls, any ideas on things to do for the memorial? Readings, songs, etc. How about tournaments (shuffle board, ping pong?) I am so happy I could plotz.

Is anybody thinking of arriving in Houston/Galveston the night before? Concerns about winter weather & flight delays?
Mike, can you make the print a little bigger? I can't read it. Is there a way to be notified when there is a new post?
I can make the original post larger but not the comments. Sorry, I'll keep trying.
Bev, I am going the night before and I recommend it to everyone. I never thought about winter travel delays. Good thinking on your part.
